Your honeymoon is one of the best times to relax and have fun with your beloved after your wedding. And because you have been planning for this special event ever since kindergarten, it is always high time that you make it perfect by eliminating the dreaded honeymoon-planning headache. As you have been busy planning your wedding, your honeymoon at this point will be the least of your priorities. There are even things you might even fail to realize when planning your dream honeymoon.
First, you fail to realize the importance of a honeymoon registry. Admit it. A perfect honeymoon may be as costly and can rip the bills out of your pocket. Honeymoon packages can range from $5,000-$10,000 and that is a lot of money! Failing to consider a honeymoon registry will only let you spend more. Why do you need to spend more when you can have your guest pay for a parcel or even your whole honeymoon trip? If you're not a fan of traditional gifts then a honeymoon registry will let you save more money for your trip!
Second, you fail to realize the importance of booking a hotel room earlier and that most European hotels only offer single bed accommodations. It wouldn't be sweet if you just go to a hotel without a reservation and then realize that there are no available rooms you can occupy. Failing to book a hotel room in advance will only give you more headaches! Plus, if you don't know that most European hotels only have single beds, it wouldn't be sweet as well to squeeze the both of you in one tiny bed. If you have booked ahead, you could have requested a queen-size or king-sized bed.
Third, you fail to realize that you can get more discounts from hotels and resorts if you tell that you're honeymooning. Most hotels offer upgrades and other perks for newlyweds. And the good thing about this is that it is offered for lower rates and even for free. Tell the whole world you just got married. Besides, it's your time to shine!
Lastly, you fail to consider your spouse's opinion about your trip. The best way to enjoy your honeymoon is to do things that both of you would like to do. Most of the time, you fail to realize that although you love a certain honeymoon activity, your spouse might not enjoy it the way you do. It is always best that both of you will decide together what activities you will choose to do on your honeymoon.
